Weedon is Marcus Quirion (singer-songwriter, musician, and producer) and Julien Thibault (singer-songwriter, musician, and producer), two friends having a blast with this new two-headed project! In the heart of the Eastern Townships, these creative powerhouses have taken on the challenge of stepping outside their respective comfort zones and writing disarmingly honest songs.
The duo presents "Viens mourir avec moi" (Come Die with Me), the live show for their second album, due out in January 2026. Sung in perfect harmony, the songs on this album embody the reflections of turning thirty, offering a medium- to long-term perspective on life. The guys remain true to their guitar, banjo, mandolin, and cello, telling deeper stories over new rhythms in a folk/Americana style. Since 2023, Weedon's career has continued to shine, with numerous radio hits and two appearances as iHeart Future Stars on the Énergie and Rouge FM networks. 2025 also proved to be an exceptional year for the group, who were invited to present at two professional showcases, one at ROSEQ and the other at FOLK CANADA.
